So Knowledge Is Obligatory....Alright, Let Me Get Serious!

Call it maturity, but I came to a point in life where I understand that knowledge is mandatory! The goal is not to get a passing grade, or to get through in life. We must be strongly committed in educating ourselves, the youth (especially our kids).

Let's not neglect our responsibilites!!!

I'm not up for the task of writing about Islamic issues, OR the fact that the World differs on religious practices...
It's disappointing, I'm saddened by all this...
But hey, what can I do?

Why Is It Hard For Some People To Follow Their Own Advice?

Sit down...reflect...reminisce on the times you've been a victim of this "disease"...Now make strong efforts to cure it.

Must Have Items...Especially If You're Muslim!

- Qur'an: English/French/.../ An Arabic version of the Qur'an is a must! Reciting Qur'an in Arabic should be one of our priorities!!!
- Hadith book: cauz they help one understand the way of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), who was sent as an example to humanity.
- Islamic lecture CDs: will help one gain more knowledge about Islam, which all muslims & muslimahs must strive for.

Don't Kill The Dream...Just Execute It!

I heard the quote above from Br. Safi Khan at the "Home Of The Heart: Fundraiser Dinner" hosted by Dar-us-Salaam on December 27, 2008. The quote says it all!!!

Motivation, Determination and Faith in Allah is all we need brothers and sisters for the World to reach new heights.

Why Do We Disrespect Others During Salaah:(

Maybe cauz we want to prevent those who are praying to connect with Allah? Hakim T., this can't be the case cauz in Islam we're supposed to "love for our brothers & sisters more than what we love for our own self".

Can't Believe She Stopped Talking To Me....Cauz I Mentioned Salaah & Haya!

Guess this is what happens when one isn't ready to get serious
But would rather follow her lust
And enjoy the desires of this world.
Just wish she would understand that there are conditions in the relationship with Allah (God).

How can she forget about the 5 pillars of Islam?
1. Shahada (believe in Allah & Muhammad as the final messenger)
2. Salah (the required prayers)
3. Zakat (spending 2.5% of wealth for the needy)
4. Saum (fasting during the month of Ramadan)
5. Hajj (pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca, if you are able to do so financially)

I love you, but you can't say you believe and not pray or not pay zakat!!!
I'm sorry :(
Listen, no one is perfect...but please take some steps towards building a connection. Alright!

Time Is Ticking Away...Am I Planning For The Future?

Please do! Not just in this life...
But life in the Hereafter cauz one of the questions you will be asked is, "Who is your Lord'?

If; for instance, you say Jesus. It will be problematic cauz he can't be 1 in 3 (the Lord, the Savior, the Holy Spirit). This statement proves that your God is not One, but 3 in 1.

You shouldn't regret what you answer; therefore, take time to reflect!
